How to Make Free Minecraft Servers

To create a free Minecraft server, you will need to:

1. Install the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your computer, which is necessary to run Minecraft server software.

2. Download the latest version of the Minecraft server software from the official minecraft website

3. Extract the previously downloaded file to a folder on your desktop.

4. Open the folder and double-click on the “minecraft_server.exe” file to start the server.

5. The first time you start the server, it will create a file called “eula.txt.” Open this file in a text editor and change the value of “eula=false” to “eula=true.” This indicates that you agree to the end-user license agreement for the Minecraft server software.

6. Save the changes to the “eula.txt” file and close it.

7. Again start the server by double-clicking on the “minecraft_server.exe” file. The server will generate the necessary files and start running.

8. To connect to the server from your Minecraft client, open the game and click on the “Multiplayer” option. Click the “Add Server” button, and enter the server name and IP address (which will be “localhost” if you are running the server on the same computer as the client). To add the server to your list, click “Done”. From the list, select the desired server. Now, click “Join Server” to connect.

Keep in mind that free Minecraft servers may have limitations on the number of players and features available and may not be as reliable as paid servers.
