Bring Your Data to Life with Unmatched Power BI Dashboard Sharing!

Sharing a Power BI dashboard allows you to share your data and insights with others, either within your organization or outside of it. 

To share a Power BI dashboard, you can use one of the following methods:

1. Share the dashboard with specific people: You can share the dashboard with specific people by going to the “File” menu and selecting “Share.” Later on, enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the dashboard with and click “Share.” You can also set permissions for the people you are sharing with, such as whether they can edit the dashboard or only view it.
2. Publish the dashboard to the web: You can publish the dashboard to the web so that it can be accessed by anyone with the link. To do this, go to the “File” menu and select “Publish to the web.” Follow the prompts to generate a link to the dashboard, which you can then share with anyone.
3. Share the dashboard through a Microsoft Teams channel: If you are using Microsoft Teams, you can share the dashboard with your team by adding it to a channel. To do this, go to the “File” menu and select “Add to Teams.” Follow the prompts to select the team and channel you want to add the dashboard to.
4. Embed the dashboard in a website: You can embed the dashboard in a website so that it is displayed directly on the page. To do this, go to the “File” menu and select “Embed.” Follow the prompts to generate the embed code, which you can copy and paste into the HTML of your website.

Keep in mind that the specific steps and options may vary depending on your version of Power BI and the settings of your organization.

After sharing the dashboard, the people you shared it with will receive an email with a link to the dashboard. They can then view or edit the dashboard, depending on the level of access you gave them.

Additionally, you also have options to share a dashboard via publish to web, embedding it in a website or report, or publishing it to the Power BI app, which allows you to share the dashboard with a much larger audience.
