What is a Thot?
The term “thot” is a derogatory slang term that is mostly used to refer to a woman or a person who is perceived as promiscuous or sexually promiscuous. The term is often used as an insult or a way to shame or degrade someone, and it is not considered acceptable language.
The origins of the term “thot” are unclear, but it is thought to be an acronym for “that ho over there” or “that hoe over there.” It is often used in a derogatory or demeaning way to refer to someone, particularly a woman, who is perceived as sexually promiscuous or as having loose sexual morals.
Using the term “thot” to refer to someone is not acceptable and can be considered derogatory and offensive. It is important to respect others and to use language that is inclusive and respectful rather than language that is intended to shame or degrade others.
“A woman who pretends to be the type of valued female commodity who legitimately wins male commitment—until the man realises that she’s merely a cheap counterfeit of a “nice girl” who is good just for mindless sex, not relationships or respect,” according to the site’s most popular definition.
“They’re just hoes,” as the expression goes, and their worth appears to be entirely dependent on their sexuality and sexual prowess. This is presumably why Shamir says you can’t make a thot a wife — thots aren’t particularly desirable by definition because they sleep around (AKA have autonomy over their bodies and sexuality), will inevitably cheat on you (because apparently, a sexual woman is incapable of being faithful), and have no other qualities besides being hoes. Yeah. It’s completely messed up.
